INTRODUCTION
A disciple is a student, trained, instructed, obedient, and ever willing to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as share what has been taught with others. In general it refers to all followers of Christ who are called Christians, not only in believe but also in lifestyle. He is shaping our characters to be like Christ and taking his life as an example to emulate. The significance of answering Christ call to be disciple is willingness to serve, obey and live for Him.
LESSON: CHARACTERISTICS OF A DISCIPLE

CONCLUSION
As Disciples of Christ, believers do not have to be passive, Jesus expects His disciples to be fruitful and do good works (godly works). They are to walk in Christ footstep: having self control, self-denial and showing forth the fruit of the spirit in their character and services.
