TEXT: 2 Corinthians 5: 10, 1 Corinthians 3: 11 – 18

MEMORY VERSE: Romans 14: 12 so then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

INTRODUCTION

The judgement of the believer’s works not sin is under discussion here. His sins have been atoned for and shall not be remember (Hebrews 10: 17). But every work must come into judgment (2 Corinthians 5: 10). The result of this judgment reward for good work or losing of reward; but he himself shall be saved. This judgment occurs at the return of Christ for his Church.

 TYPES OF CROWN

  1. Crown of rejoicing: for soul winner (Philippians 4: 4, 1Thessalonians 2: 19, Philippians 4. 1)
  2. Crown of righteousness: for loving and living for Christ (2Timothy 4: 6 – 8)
  3. Crown of life for enduring temptation (John 1: 12, revelation 2: 10, James 1: 12)
  4. Shinning as stars: for soul winners (Daniel 12: 3)
  5. Crown of glory for faithful leaders (1Peter 5: 4,)
  6. Crown of victory for doing lawfully (2Timothy 2: 5)

 OTHER REWARDS

  1. They will eat out of the tree of life (Revelation 2: 7)
  2. They shall not be hurt of the second death (Revelation 2: 11)
  3. God will give them to eat of the hidden manna (Revelation 2: 17
  4. God shall give them power over nations (Revelation 2: 26 – 27)
  5. They shall be clothed with white raiment (Revelation 3: 3 – 6)
  6. He will be made a pillar in the temple of my God. (Revelation 3: 11 – 13)
  7. They shall have eternal life (Revelation 21 – 22)

CONCLUSION

Be ye steadfast unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the lord for as much as you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. (1 Corinthians 15: 58). Friends keep serving Him with your time, money, talent, spiritual gifts and materials possessions you shall be rewarded.
