TEXT: REVELATION 13: 1 – 10
MEMORY VERSE: 2Thessalonians 2. 4 “who opposed and exalted himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sit in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.
INTRODUCTION
The Antichrist will begin his reign after the rapture of the saints; It’s the presence of the church on earth that is restraining him. He shall reign and subdue nations, control world economy, influences religious body, until the2nd coming of Christ when he will be defeated by Christ and cast alive into the lake of fire. (Revelation 19: 20, Revelation 20: 10). The reign of the antichrist is the period of the great tribulation on earth.
DURING ANTICHRIST REIGN
- There will still be business activity (Revelation 13: 17)
- There will be the Church of the non rapture people and the unsaved (Revelation 6: 9 – 11, Revelation 7: 9 – 17)
- People’s heart will be hardened and they will continue in there evil act (revelation 9: 20 – 21, Revelation 16: 8 – 11)
- Antichrist will have dominion and power over the ten (10) kingdom in side the old Roman empire (Revelation 13: 1, Daniel 7: 23 – 24)
- He will come up with a false peace and sign a treaty with Israel (Revelation 13: 1 – 6,Dan 9,27)
- He will make war with the saints and kill does who will refuse his mark (Revelation 13: 7 – 8, Dan 7,21)
- He will issue out mark- the symbol his government (Revelation 13: 16 – 18)
- He will promote idolatry –making himself an object of worship (Revelation 13: 11 – 13)
- He will break the peace treaty signed with Israel at the middle of the 7 years (Daniel 9: 25 – 27, Mathew 24: 15 – 31)
- He and the false prophet will be into the lake of fire (Revelation 19: 20, Revelation 20: 10)
CONCLUSION
The early part of the reign of the antichrist shall be mark with ‘peace’ {false peace}, but the bible says when they shall say peace and safely sudden destruction will come. Hence, faithfully serving the Lord will cause you to escape the satanic reign of the antichrist. (1Thessaloninas 5: 1 – 2)
